HomeSnap app knows more about your house than you do

Looking for a new home can be a bit strenuous. There are all sorts of factors to take into account such as wondering how many beds, baths, and floors are in the house, what the neighborhood is like, and what schools are nearby. The hardest part is finding a source of information that is both accurate and readily available.

Sawbuck, an online real estate company out of Washington, DC has created an iPhone app called HomeSnap, that will solve all of your house hunting problems in one place. All you need do is take a picture of any home, and you can find out all about it. They have about 90 million homes in the US in their database, so there are very few that will not register in their system. Seeing as this app is absolutely free (I checked just to make sure), there’s no point not downloading this thing if you’re searching for a new home. Even if you’re not looking for a new place, it’s still pretty fun to find out how much houses are worth.
