Magimix Colored Vision Toaster: Seeing is believing

Toast is a special kind of food that can be the epitome of a breakfast, or the sign of a bad day just starting to unfold. Getting burnt toast makes the morning ritual take longer, and means that you’ve wasted food if it has passed a point of no return. If only you could see your toast becoming delicious from the side instead of peering down over top of it, maybe then you would never again have to deal with blackened breakfast bread.

The Magimix Colored Vision Toaster has see-through paneling on the sides so you can watch the toasting process in action. If you see that it’s getting beyond the point of perfection, you can simply pop it out, and munch on scrumptious crisp toast. The slots are extra wide so it can accommodate bagels or more substantial slices of bread. You can choose between black, off-white, and red on this plastic and stainless steel contraption. It says that it’s built to last for 30,000 uses, so maybe that’s why it costs around $200? It’s probably more cost-effective to fail at making toast a few times in a cheaper toaster, but that doesn’t make this thing any less neat!

  • $300+ for a toaster – geesh!

    • Hmm….I have to say I agree with you. :)
