Wood Radio Slide-Out Speaker – Sometimes simple is all we really need

Wood Radio Slide-Out Speaker

Sometimes our bank account says we can’t have the prettiest, flashiest speaker that’s on the market but we still want to be able to hear our jams out of something with a little more kick than our smartphone speaker. For the budget-minded who also like things with a little unique style, this is the speaker for you.

Technology has brought us some pretty wild-looking speakers but we don’t need a lot of bells and whistles just to hear music. All we need is a speaker. The Wood Radio Slide-Out Speaker offers us a simple system with an interesting design that is sure to get attention.

While it looks like an old-timey, wood radio, the box is actually a cardboard case designed to hold the speaker when it’s being toted around, only taking up 3.25-inches by 3.25-inches by 1.7-inches of space. Will it make your eardrums bleed with pulse-pounding decibels? Probably not, but it will give you a little more volume to work with than what’s provided by your smartphone or other media device.

There are fancier speakers out there but if you’re looking for something small that only costs $4.00, there’s no harm in giving this little fella a try. If nothing else, it will make a great addition to someone’s weird speaker collection.
