Life Armor NEO – the pod to help you survive any disaster

Are you irrationally afraid of natural disasters? Maybe you’re just waiting for the world to end, after all, that 2012 prediction could have been a bit off. The Life Armor NEO is the product to give you just the right peace of mind against “acts of god”.

The Life Armor NEO is a round pod designed to fit four adults in the event of a disaster. Tsunami, earthquake, that sort of thing. There’s just enough room to get you, your loved ones, and small personal possessions out and into somewhere safe to weather the storm, no matter how bad it may be. The surface is strong and can withstand great shocks due to its round shape. In case of being washed out to sea (or if the sea comes to you) it floats.

This may seem like a pretty silly product but if you live somewhere that’s prone to the earth destroying your home (why do you still live there after the first time? I’m looking at you Tornado Alley, USA) then this could potentially save your life. The unit even allows you to pick your own color. You can pick up the Life Armor NEO for 512,940¥ or $4219.64.

The below video is in Japanese but it gives you a nice inside look at the product.

Donyae’s love for technology is based on a need to survive our future robotic overlords. Know thy enemy as you know yourself. But since even odds are on the zombie future, she has also learned how to prepare squirrel. You can find her on Facebook until the robots – or zombies – rise up.
