IronMan 3 Bluetooth Wireless Headphones – insert catchy marketing slogan here

We have to confess to being a little bemused by some of the marketing around today’s consumer technology. For example Beats, which as far as we can see is just a fairly mediocre range of gadgets with some fancy color design. We must be missing the point surely?

We’re also trying to work out, how tying in a comic character with something like a pair of high end headphones really works. Take this set of IronMan 3 Bluetooth Wireless Headphones. Who’s the target market? They’re styled as though aimed at a teens and pre-teen market, with all that glittery gold and red stuff, and yet the price point pushes them fair and square into the audiophile end of the sector.

Sure, they’ve got cool on-board tech like Bluetooth 4.0 and NFC for instant connectivity and improved wireless stability, but at the end of the day we’re willing to bet that the spec isn’t any better than other wireless headphones with less flash and needing less cash. Whatever. If you’re a dead set Tony Stark fan, here’s to you and your $324.
