Coursmos – micro-learning for the distracted

Online learning is becoming more and more common. Many people are taking classes to enrich their own education and lives through the portal of the internet. There are a ton of sites that offer courses tailored to specific needs. Coursmos is a micro-learning site that helps you learn about what you’re interested in, quickly.

Coursmos is set up a lot like Craftsy where you are offered a smorgasbord of classes created by independent experts to help you learn a skill or gain some knowledge in a field. The difference between the two however is that that Craftsy is focused on arts and crafts and Coursmos is a little bit of everything.

They’re not very long classes. They’re meant to be devoured quickly, teach and move on. Not everyone will respond to this learning style but for the easily distracted or eternally busy, it could be an easy way to gain some new skills. You can sign up for free but the classes themselves do cost some money. Or you can pay $15 a month for unlimited access to Coursmos.
