Librestock – a directory for free photos

LibreStock

We are visual creatures. Pictures speak to us. If you’re looking for a way to get quality free images, check out Librestock, the high quality stock image resource.

There are many websites where you can buy stock photos and a few where you can get some nice ones for free. Of course, many of these sites contain user uploaded content so even though you may want to go the free route, you may find yourself downloading one from a paid site. Sometimes you luck out and get a freebie from a paid site. Librestock compiles all the free stock photos from professional sites for you.

In essence, this website is less a photo depository and more like a quick index to all the current free photos from other sites. The best part is, they’re all under creative commons so feel free to do what you want with them! When you click to download, it tells you what site the photo is from and takes you to the original destination. You can search for different topics and be met with a variety of quality photos that you can use for whatever you like, all for free. Go to the Librestock website and check it out.

Donyae’s love for technology is based on a need to survive our future robotic overlords. Know thy enemy as you know yourself. But since even odds are on the zombie future, she has also learned how to prepare squirrel. You can find her on Facebook until the robots – or zombies – rise up.
