Question Block Light – a desk lamp fit for your favorite plumber

Humans aren’t great at seeing in the dark, that’s why we discovered fire and invented electricity (it’s a joke! Don’t leave me comments about the science of electricity. Unless you want to share some cool facts.) If you need to see in the dark and are also into the greatness of Nintendo, check out the Question Block Light.

In Mario Bros (original flavor) when you hit a block from below you get coins or a power up. You push this box from the top and it gives you light. Even if you could bop it from the bottom it probably wouldn’t give you a Fire Flower or Extra Life. You shouldn’t test it. Or do, don’t let us tell you how to live your life.

This desk lamp is powered by USB or batteries and gives off a soft glow. If you’re a Mushroom Kingdom enthusiast this is the perfect addition to your desk. It turns on and off by lightly pressing down on it, seriously, no jumping required. The Question Block Light is $35.

Donyae’s love for technology is based on a need to survive our future robotic overlords. Know thy enemy as you know yourself. But since even odds are on the zombie future, she has also learned how to prepare squirrel. You can find her on Facebook until the robots – or zombies – rise up.
