Seeds – the virtual tree planting game that plants real trees

We know we need more trees. More trees, less pollution. Tree-Nation answer is to make planting trees into a game with Seeds. This easy to play community game gets people to work together, to plant a tree. It’s an interesting take on crowd-sourcing for the Earth.

The game is free and each week you get a seed to plant. You push a shovel icon to plant it and you can add content to your seed. The better the content on your seed, the more likely it is to be watered by other members of the community. If it is watered by 100 drops in a week, then congrats, your tree will be planted.

If it’s not very popular, no worries, you’ll get another seed to plant and you can try again. The goal is to raise awareness of climate change and help people become more active in helping to combat it. Even if all they can do is add virtual encouragement to getting some trees planted.
