LG K7i: Mosquito Away – use your phone to google song lyrics and keep pests away

Your smartphone does a lot but can it help keep you safe from mosquitoes, the most annoying of common insects? Probably not, but if you had the LG K7i: Mosquito Away phone, it could! This phone emits ultrasonic pulses that keep the little pests away from you.

The pulses are inaudible to humans but it is clear as a bell to mosquitoes and keeps them from flying anywhere near you or your family. The repellent is actually a cover a for a normal phone. The phone itself runs on Android Marshmallow, has 16 GB of internal memory (only 11.7 is available to users however) with both rear and front facing cameras. Pretty standard.

This phone probably isn’t very exciting for those of us that live in areas that aren’t beset by these bloodsuckers. For people who don’t have that good fortune, this might be one more layer in helping to keep them itch free. Check out the website for more information.
