What if your whole house was a carbon capture? Just the place you live, sleep at night, avoid other people was itself a way to help clean up CO2? Seems like a science fiction dream right? Well it’s closer to reality than you would think with the building materials from Just BioFiber.

This company makes hemp LEGO blocks. There’s really no better way to describe them. They’re made from hemp and can be fit together with built in spikes. They’re easy to work with, cost is nearly the same as a traditional frame building and eco-friendly. Despite being plant matter, it’s also very fire resistant so the house is super safe.

Growing hemp, itself, absorbs carbon but then once in block form, the house will absorb more carbon which actually makes it stronger the longer it stands. A really sustainable building material that can be used for above ground structures.
