Apeel Sciences – an extra peel makes all the difference

Fresh produce is awesome. It’s so yummy and great but it goes bad FAST. So fast. We’ve all picked up some fruits intending to live our best lives and then forget about them only to come back a week later to a brand new, furry mold society growing in your fridge drawer. Apeel Sciences wants to keep that from happening by giving fruits and veggies a second skin.

Turns out peels are mostly really good at doing their job which is keeping the good stuff fresh. We’re busy and forgetful so we can push the limits of what a peel can do. Apeel Sciences just places a second sort of peel over the first, like a natural cling wrap.

This second, very thin, peel is the same stuff, just slightly more of it. The result is a fresh fruit of vegetable that lasts longer on your counter. The longer shelf life equals less food waste which is a big issue. Check out the website for more information.
