The Atmosphere is Like It Never Was Before – current levels of CO2 are first in history

The world of today is really different from the world of yesterday. Food, technology, our atmosphere. Just totally different. And by atmosphere we don’t mean the vibe and general mood of the world. For the first time ever, we’ve reached 415ppm CO2 and that’s a lot.

To make matters even more jarring, we’ve managed this rise in the last sixty years. We’re really ramping up the general destruction of our planet. We know this because we have studied past carbon amounts through the study of ice cores and soil analysis.

So we know that things have never been as they are now, even though Earth’s climate has changed, in some cases drastically, over the many, many years that the planet has been around. But right now, this is man made and not something that we want to let play out.

Donyae’s love for technology is based on a need to survive our future robotic overlords. Know thy enemy as you know yourself. But since even odds are on the zombie future, she has also learned how to prepare squirrel. You can find her on Facebook until the robots – or zombies – rise up.
