Save Your Own Life with the Airthings Wave Plus – Review

The Airthings Wave Plus is a small device which measures the air quality. I’m not kidding when I say that this thing can save your life!

PROS

  • Easy to use
  • A lot of explanation on how to improve quality
  • Great stats over time
  • Radon alarm
  • You can see air quality in your village and compare with your house
  • You can mount it on the wall
  • Ring light turn green, yellow or red
  • App works great, also possible via dashboard on PC or tablet

CONS

  • You can’t really see which hours were bad, since it doesn’t show this
  • It only measures, so doesn’t improve air quality on its own (which is a bit logical as well)

VERDICT

The Airthings Wave Plus is a bit of an improvement on the regular Wave. The sensors are better and faster, but it looks exactly the same. The Wave Plus gives you a great impression on the quality of your air, and can also detect temperature, humidity, CO2 and other things.

In my opinion it’s really important to see what the air quality is, since you can’t really see air with your eyes and thus not know if the quality is good or not. This can actually save your life or at least improve your sleep for example.
