The Trak-Kit. Suspend your flat screen television on a track and rod system and move it around from place to place. What do you mean why? To get a ‘more flexible viewing experience’ of course. And what do you mean how much?
Trak-kit consists of suspending a screen from an track system to allow for a linear, rotation and vertical display movement path. The flat screen can now be used in multiple areas, allowing you to enjoy your television beyond the living room. Wires are no longer a burden and eye-sore as they are with traditional a/v equipment carts: all cables are integrated into a individual cable management system inside the track.
Unless I can drag the TV down the hall and into the bathroom with me, I see no use for this at all…
Since it also permits vertical sliding, it can be useful for hiding the screen behind your desk. You can then make the screen reappear as you show film clips promoting movies starring the guests of your home-made talk-show.
