The SS28S Dual Mode SIP/Skype WiFi Phone. The world’s first multi-mode handset with 802.11b wireless LAN, SIP and Skype support, 3.5 hours talk time, 60 hours standby and 100 metres range indoors (300 outdoors). How long before we get WiFi, SIP, Skype, GSM, 3G handsets then? Three years tops? No price as yet.
In Skype mode, you could get the Skype contact list from your account to talk and send the instant message to people freely, or use Skype Out to dial PSTN under a basic network environment. Further, it could receive the phone calls from both SIP and Skype functions without any configuration to help you stay in touch.
It looks like a cellphone from the 1980s, but trying to also look like a bloated ipod. ugh.
