Media Center FM.

Mvixmv5000

The Mvix MV-5000U Media Center with FM. It’s another day and so another media center peeps. This puppy has one novel feature, however, because it incorporates an FM transmitter to beam sounds to the nearest radio tuner. They’re saying that this makes it ideal as a media player for your car. OK, we’ll run with that. Just as soon as we can rustle up the extra $29.99 for the car kit. $219.00 gets you a bare bones, no hard disk version. You can work the rest out from there.

It enables you to enjoy your favorite movies, home videos, music and digital photo files on your TV or home-theater system. It is a highly customizable, scaleable and portable multimedia center with an ability to render dozens of video, audio and digital image (i.e. JPEG) formats over your TV, projector or home-theater system. It uses a 3.5″ HDD (not included) and it works just like an external USB 2.0 hard drive when you connect it to your PC.

  • Yep, a friend at work has bought this and is very impressed. It takes up to a 500gig HD (he put a 350 in it). Now he takes it everywhere, and chucks loads of videos/mp3`s etc etc in it, which he can play anywhere. He bought it off ebay.com.au for #200.

I`d like to get one… it seems the best from all the ones I researched.

  • I have one of these players and this beats any other players in the market – hands down!. It plays literally any video file that I throw at it. I use it in my office for displaying video compilations and then use it at home to store all my DVDs. Its simply amazing. Will recommend this anyday.
