Bluetooth Retro Handset – so cool it’s untrue

Thinkgeekbluetoothretrohandset

The Thinkgeek Bluetooth Retro Handset. This is so cool it’s frightening. Bluetooth, retro, 30 foot range, rechargeable via USB. Did we mention downright talkalicious? And the best part is the price. A very reasonable $39.99 (mobile not included y’all).

We have taken the ever-popular Retro Handset and updated it to connect to your cell phone using Bluetooth technology. That’s right! No more tangled up phone cord. Now people will think you’re really crazy talking into a old-time handset connected to… nothing. Oh, and speaking of nothing, there’s nothing out there quite like this handset because this product is a ThinkGeek original design, only available here. How ’bout them blueberries?

  • I think this is one instance where the coiled cord really, really makes this totally groovy, man.

    Even better make your own!

  • Lame handset. I ordered one a few weeks ago and it was among the worst BT devices I’ve ever encountered. Both the speaker and the mic suck. Tried it w/ several cell phones, and never had a good signal. Save your money.

I really wanted this to work b/c I want a large handset b/c of my big hands -this was not the one. Bummer.

  • Aw, thanks for the feedback ADCL, what a shame. I suppose you get what you pay for though, eh? Oh well… :-)

  • I ordered one about a month ago, and I love mine. The sound quality is excellent, and the range is good enough for me.

AnonymousDCLawyer : you might want to consider contacting thinkgeek, you may have gotten a bunk one.
