The Qstik EVOQ DSP Bluetooth Headset claims to be ‘the world’s most advanced DSP Bluetooth headset’. We can’t possibly comment on such blatant hyperbole, but the specs look OK. Stereo Bluetooth music streaming (but to one ear?), automatic switching between telephone call and music and noise reduction audio enhancement. Remains to be seen just how all this tech affects battery life though. Anyway, it’s available now for £59.99.
The bi-directional noise canceller reduces noise in both incoming and outgoing channels, benefiting the user and the person at the other end of the call. The noise canceller is highly adaptable to its surroundings, constantly re-tuning so the caller can move around with the voice quality remaining intact. The process is a fast-converging, low delay technology that cuts out intrusive background noise in both incoming and outgoing channels, simultaneously.
The evoQ hreadset is a truely remarkable device and it’s the connectable earbuds that provide the streaming high class stereo audio.
