Add electric power to your bike with Ridekick

There are a lot of good reasons to travel via bike. If you live in a large city, it may be a much faster way to beat the traffic, plus it’s a heck of a lot cheaper than buying gas every week. The fact that it’s a good workout is appealing to many people, but for those that just want to get from point A to point B quickly, you might find the Ridekick to be of interest.

This two-wheeled device houses an electric motor that actually pushes your bike at speeds of up to 19 mph. In just 15 seconds, you can attach or remove the Ridekick to your bike, and set off. You’ll have a small throttle, which you can use to control the speed at which you’re traveling. There is even plenty of storage space in the shell, so you can bring more things with you on your trip. With a range of 8-12 miles, the only thing that will hold most people back from purchasing is the $700 price tag. But when compared to other electric bikes, the price doesn’t seem too terrible.
