I’ve used and compared the Amazfit T-Rex Pro for more than a month, so let’s see how it holds up!
I’m a big fan of the Apple Watch and as my daily driver, I use the Apple Watch SE Nike Edition. With the Amazfit T-Rex Pro coming in, I compared both watches and made a full review!
Pro’s
- Comfortable when running – you don’t really feel it
- Looks a bit like a G-Shock
- A lot of information on workouts
- You have you heart rate reach
- Stepping distance is measured
- Effect of training
- You can see in the app what your training intensity/fitness is
- Watch is locked when training so you don’t accidentally press something
- Measurements are accurate
- Perfect GPS signal
- A lot of different workouts
- Very sturdy
- Works smooth
- Amazing battery life
- Always on display
- You can measure blood oxygen saturation
- Not expensive
Con’s
- Takes a while before screen lights up when twisting wrist
- Very loud buzzing
- Syncing to Apple health and Strava not that easy – you really have to go into settings and stuff. Not out of the box
- They really want to work with the zepp app, which is okay, app works well but nothing special
- Not a lot of watchfaces
Buy or no buy
- Are you active? = buy
- Do you like G-Shock = buy
- Up there with apple watch
