AquaGlide Multisport 270 – 4 in 1 inflatable sailboat, kayak, wind-surfer and towable…surf’s up dude

Now that summer’s here, our thoughts quite rightfully turn to important matters like beachwear, vacation slots and all the fun that we can fit into a jolly at the seaside. The real action always takes place on the water of course, but it’s really a pain to have to lug a boat or other craft down to the water’s edge in order to indulge our desires.

The AquaGlide MultiSport 270 makes all that hassle disappear. This clever 4 in 1 inflatable, does solid service as a sailboat with a 33 sq foot PVC sail, fiberglass battens and a 11.5 foot tall mast to give you that full nautical atmosphere from a portable bag.

However if you’re in a more sedate mood, you can always opt to go solo, by using the standup wind-surfer mode, using the integrated sail boom to steer yourself from cove to cove. Discard the sail altogether and you’ll be amazed to find a single seater kayak lurking in those inflatable folds, although you’ll need to buy an optional paddle and seat kit for the conversion.

Finally, the truly lazy among us (yay!) can dispense with all that exercise stuff and opt to be towed around behind a powerful speed boat or jet ski, by converting the craft into a simple, fun towable. You get the bracing fresh sea air, the tang of salt on your tongue and none of the aching muscles from hauling your carcass through the waves. Bargain.

The tough PVC hull inflates in just 10 minutes using the supplied foot pump, and when ready can support a weight of up to 400 lbs. When you’re finished frolicking around, just take another 10 minutes to deflate, return it to the bag and the back of the car and you’re set for some apres sea refreshments. Perfick! Priced at $799.95.
