BatteryBar is a neat little freeware program which monitors your laptop computer’s battery status, and gives a super accurate reading of the amount of time you’ve got left. Unlike normal power meters, this one maintains a history of your discharge rates, which means it gets more accurate as you use it.
If you’ve ever been frustrated by the seemingly random movements of the default Windows battery meter in the task bar, then this is probably your kind of tool. The Pro version offers alarms and extra features for $7.50.
BatteryBar is a simple, straight-forward, battery meter that monitors the status of your battery and displays your battery’s status in the taskbar. BatteryBar constantly monitors the status of your battery as you use your laptop. As it monitors your battery, it keeps historical data on your battery and provide you with a very accurate estimate of how much time is remaining on your battery.
Well, I've been running Battery Bar since this post but it's been getting steadily worse.
I've just uninstalled it after being told my battery was empty when the built-in battery meter told me I had 30 mins to go. Guess which one was right?
Sorry Battery Bar, you look good and have heaps of battery info, but once you started flaking out, I couldn't fix you.
