Bid & Borrow is a consumer focused rental service which lets you hire out your gear to anyone who’s in need. You can set the fee you want, but potential borrowers can haggle with you. It’s an interesting idea and one which could be very useful, but as with all these services it needs traction, lots of users and geographic spread. The service is free for both borrowers and lenders at present.

 Bid & Borrow puts lenders in touch with borrowers. It brings together those who wish to hire things they own to others, or have services they wish to offer (we call them lenders) with those who are interested in hiring the items or services on offer (we call them borrowers).
