The G-Sat BT-328 Bluetooth GPS Receiver. These GPS thingies are starting to look kind of cute. Small, powerful and most importantly with very long battery life. This one sports a 16 hour run time, which is plenty for navigating from your door to the supermarket.
The BT-328 is the latest Bluetooth GPS from Globalsat. Built with the latest SiRFStarII low power technology. It combines performance with low cost creating an entry level BT GPS at a very attractive price. Compatible with any device with a Bluetooth compliant serial interface, it can provide accurate GPS position information for up to 16 hours continiously.
As far as I know, there are 5 flavors of SiRFstar GPS architecture (see below) and SiRFstar III is the one to look for. I get signals with my Globalsat GPS receiver in my house, glovebox, under the car seat, etc. Try that with prior architectures.
* SiRFstar I
* SiRFstar II
* SiRFstar IIe LP
* SiRFstar IIt
* SiRFstar III
Aaron, I assume that the trade off for extra sensitivity is battery life? Which makes for an interesting buying decision in many ways.
