Bonsai plants are those little trees that people spend hours pruning and caring for. It’s a skill and meditation from what I understand. Well one company has combined that with AI to give us Bons-AI, the bonsai tree that will follow you and keep you company. Because it talks to you.

The tree is a normal tree, you will have to care for it as it grows, make sure it gets sunlight and water as needed. The base is chockfull of technological goodies. Obviously, there’s a speaker so you can hold conversations with but there’s also an LED panel so you can see how it feels.

There are also sensors for the soil, a camera for movement control and a 9 axis sensor that it can follow behind you like some sort loyal pet that is also plant. It wants to help you cheer up and live your best life. It’s an interesting concept and honestly it looks like it would be very relaxing to have around. Check out the video to see it in action.
