BookCrossing – where are they now?

BookCrossing has been around since 2001 and is still going strong with over 718,000 registered participants. For those of you new to the idea of BookCrossing, it’s very simple. Simply register at the website and register the book you’re going to set free. Write the resulting BookCrossing ID in the book, add a label and then leave the book where someone will find it. When the book is found, the person can look up the book on the website and update it’s journey as well as seeing how far it’s travelled to get to them. It’s a fabulous idea and it’s great to see it’s still going strong.

BookCrossing is earth-friendly, and gives you a way to share your books, clear your shelves, and conserve precious resources at the same time. Through our own unique method of recycling reads, BookCrossers give life to books. A book registered on BookCrossing is ready for adventure.
