BoomBoom 75 streams your music via Bluetooth

Smartphones are great because they provide functionality that used to only be possible by carrying around multiple gadgets. It’s rather nice not needing to grab my MP3 player when I head out the door, as it’s one more thing in my pocket (and one more thing I could lose). As a music player, most phones are only good when you use headphones. After all, those tiny little speakers can only pack so much punch. Well if you have access to a pair of speakers with an auxiliary input, you might check out this BoomBoom 75.

What this gadget does is provides you with a wireless link via Bluetooth between a stereo and your portable music player. All you need to do is sync the BoomBoom to your device, then plug it in. You’ll then be able to stream your music, while still keeping the device on your person. $50 is a bit much for me to justify streaming wirelessly, rather than just plugging the phone into a stereo. However, if you need to keep your phone on you while playing music, this might be the way to go.
