A company by the name of Ballistic Systems� specializes in clipboards that can take a bullet. Obviously aimed at law enforcement officials, the boards come in either 9� x 12� or 9� x 14� and start at $30. Keep a couple of these and a roll of duct tape around, and you’ve got yourself a makeshift bulletproof vest. Of course you could also just keep an actual bulletproof vest around if you’re that worried about getting caught in crossfire.
