In the world where the latest electronics are blowing onto the market at a whirlwind rate, the idea of a radio made of cardboard seems like a throwback to another day. The Card Radio is perhaps an attempt to design and manufacture more responsibly for today’s consumer.
Suck UK (really), this UK-based product design company that created this interesting little FM radio, has included in it a MP3 input and internal mechanisms housed in a card structure that can be recycled at the product’s end of life.
No clue how well it works but for the price – £25 (US$39) – it at least will make an interesting conversation piece.
