Tron Segway is no Lightcycle

So many Tron fans have been trying to modify everything they own to come with bright lights and fancy stripes. Though I have no qualm with this whatsoever, I do find it terribly amusing. One of the more recent awesome yet hilarious things that has shown up is a Tron-inspired Segway. Though it doesnt seem to be too awfully difficult to make, as its just reflective tape and a strand of blue LED Christmas lights, its still pretty spiffy looking….

Turn your iPhone into a LEGO creation

There’s something about those little LEGO bricks that stand up to the test of time. Even as an adult, I love the opportunity to play with them. I always figured I’d outgrow such childish toys, but what can I say, I’m still a kid at heart. If you still share my love for them, you can now turn your iPhone 4 into a LEGO building surface. No, this isn’t an officially licensed LEGO product, but your little bricks will attach…

Yes, the holidays have passed, but that doesn’t mean that the gift-giving is over until next December. There are still birthdays, anniversaries, weddings and other reasons to exchange presents. If you’re like me, you probably enjoy a harmless prank here and there. Combine that with a love for giving gifts, and you’ve got yourself a perfect reason to buy these Fake Gift Boxes. Imagine unwrapping a gift, and staring at a box for something called the Pet Petter, which claims…

LiteLocker lets you leave your Christmas lights up year-round

I’ve never messed with putting up Christmas lights on any of the places I’ve lived. This has a lot to do with the fact that I’ve mostly lived in apartments, and the fact that I can be really lazy. I’ll be honest, spending a couple of hours on a ladder in the freezing cold just so I can get a higher electric bill isn’t my idea of fun. Instead, I just admire other peoples’ handiwork. For those of you that…

Porche Bobsleigh takes you down snowy hills in style

Have you always thought about owning a Porche? For most of us, that dream is pretty far out of reach. I mean, a brand new one can cost as much as a house, and personally, I’d take the house. However, you can get yourself a brand new Porche, and appease your inner child at the same time. How? With this Bobsleigh, which was designed by the engineers at Porche. No, owning one of these is not going to be quite…

Game for Cats turns your iPad into a cat toy

If you have an iPad, you’ve no doubt found dozens of uses for it. Browsing the web, reading eBooks, jotting notes, watching movies and more. But have you ever tried using it as a cat toy? Probably not, since most rational people don’t want to take a $500+ device and unleash their pet upon it. Well if you’re a brave soul, you can do just that with the Game for Cats app. The app is rather simple, you can choose…

Tweetwrap lets you cover your gifts in tweets

It seems that custom wrapping paper is in style this year. First we had the terribly-named QRapping Paper, now Samsung (of all people) has started offering Tweetwrap. As the name implies, this wrapping paper relies on Twitter for your customization. You can specify a keyword or username to populate the Twitterific pattern on your paper. Apparently the paper is part of a promotion for one of Samsung’s laptops, however, the paper itself seems far more interesting. It is a little…

Get a classic NEOGEO Gamepad for your PS3

The PS3 controller feels like a well-polished piece of gaming equipement. After all, the basic design has remained mostly untouched since the original PlayStation was released back in 1994. However, despite it being a good fit for most games, SNK doesn’t think it quite stacks up against their old NEOGEO gamepad, at least not when playing games that originated on their console. Thus, the decided to release their own custom USB controller, which is PS3-compatible. The resulting controller appears to…

How cute, an iPad holder that looks like an apple

Are you the kind of person that gets excited when they say the name of the movie in the movie? Well then perhaps you’ll find this little iPad Apple Shape Holder Stand amusing as well. You see, it’s an apple, that holds your Apple device. Get it? It’s very minimalist, and doesn’t do anything more than is absolutely necessary. At least the $8 price is minimalist as well.

R2-D2 mug is the droid you’re looking for

When you think about the heroes of Star Wars, does R2-D2 come to mind? Sure, Luke blew up the Death Star, and Han took out the shield generator for the second one, but R2 had his share of victories. I mean, if he hadn’t taken it upon himself to run off and find Obi-wan, or fixed the hyperdrive on the Millenium Falcon, things would not have turned out quite the same for the rebels. To commemorate his achievements, why not…

Large Pocket Shirt lives up to its name

You know those t-shirts that have a little pocket on one side? What exactly do people use those pockets for, other than a pack of cigarettes? Maybe a cell phone, but not much else seems to fit in that little pocket. What you really need is a pocket that spans your entire chest. Then you can cram your phone, wallet, car keys, and probably some of your groceries too. You can get this Large Pocket Shirt for $30. Better yet,…

Skyscraper scratching posts makes your cat look like King Kong

If you’re a cat owner, you have three choices when it comes to their pointy little claws. First, you can have your cat declawed. Second, you can buy scratching posts. Finally, your cat can use your furniture, walls, etc as scratching posts. Personally, I went for the first option, as I really don’t like my things torn up. If you’re against declawing your feline friend, then I might suggest this awesome Cats Attack! Scratching Post. Sure, it might be an…
