GSM Spy Wallet – make like James Bond and transform your life

Once upon a time if you wanted to play spy you needed some serious cash to lay out on all the cool technology that you see in the movies. But no more. Nowadays there are any number of really slick tools which you can use to make like an NSA agent without breaking the bank balance. Which is probably more than a little worrying.

Boom Bx – why we all need to be very very careful with crowdfunding projects nowadays…

The crowdfunding market is huge and ripe for all sorts of exploitation, but we have to say we’re completely floored by the sheer chutzpah of the people behind a new Indiegogo project for a product called Boom Bx. This ‘breakthrough‘ speaker technology was apparently ‘sketched on a piece of paper’ by Nick Robinson and his grandfather who spent ‘countless hours‘ optimizing the design. Really? Really?

The massively popular GPS network has spawned a lot of different applications, but none more dodgy than the security tracking business. Spy Camera Glasses you can actually get away with wearing?

I’ve lost count of the times I’ve wished I had a camera handy to shoot a scene while out and about. Even a short walk around my urban neighborhood can reveal loads of opportunities, ranging from cute animals and funny advertising to strange people in odd poses – and either the moment passes too fast for me to get my phone camera out, or I’m too embarrassed to stand there and click away. Now if only there was a way…

Show your opposition to SOPA/PIPA by participating in Internet Blackout on Wednesday

There’s a word that’s been floating around for the last few months that strikes fear into the hearts of internet users everywhere. SOPA. It stands for the Stop Online Piracy Act, and it threatens to disrupt the entire internet as we know it. Essentially, it gives copyright holders the ability to make entire websites disappear from the internet for hosting infringing material. What’s more is that even if the infringing material comes from a user who uploaded it to the…

HC Bluetooth Camera – the micro camcorder on your ear

This HC Bluetooth Camera looks like a normal Bluetooth headset and is worn over the ear like one and yet…impossible to believe…it’s a full colour video and audio capturing camera. Yep, a camcorder on your ear. What’s that you say, grandma? It’s got 4 GB of internal memory and a rechargeable battery, records VGA video and connects to your computer via USB. Sleazy, eh? AT&T is about to make a big no-no. The company recently announced that they would be putting a 150GB monthly cap on DSL users, and a 250GB bandwidth cap on U-Verse subscribers. Painting Cell Phone Jammer – art and technology in perfect harmony

This Painting Cell Phone Jammer may look like an innocent copy of a famous master, but in reality it’s a demon signal blocker in disguise. Hang the thing on your wall and plug it in and you’ll instantly stop anyone using their mobile phone within a 40 metre radius. How sneaky is that? The frame comes with a couple of default paintings, but you can use anything you’ve got lying around, even those summer vacation pics of Aunt Emelda, to…
