CD Library.

The DC300 CD Library [Babel], is a cute little box which hooks up to your computer via USB and can hold up to 150 CD/DVD discs. It’s not a jukebox because it has no drive mechanism, it’s more like a rotating Roladex for discs.

The smarts, however, lies in the database software which lets you index and locate a disc at will. And you can daisy chain units together to increase the archive size. It’s quite primitive compared to a proper jukeboxe, but oh so cheap at around $140.00 – and I do have a lot of discs lying around balefully gathering dust. Check out this Dan’s Data review for more.
