CHANA Green-i Electric Car – only needs ten minutes to charge up

Green-i

The Green-i concept eco car from CHANA Auto recently made its debut at the Beijing Auto Show. The electric powered car measures 3.23 meters long, 1.67 meters wide and 1.56 meters high and comes with some interesting styling, if you like the shiny green goblin look.

In order to meet the needs of our future hi-tech driving habits, the vehicle uses steer-by-wire and something called Brake Energy Regeneration, which retrieves power from the braking process to top up the batteries.

The big deal about the car though is the fact that it apparently only needs 10 minutes for a full charge, which means you can really charge and go, no matter where you are. Just plug it into a socket at your supermarket and you will be safe. Is this the end of the range problem with electric cars, or will the batteries only last for a month at a time?

  • I'm quite curious. Ofcourse this would be the invention! Only taking 10 minutes to charge, this would solve all the problem for electric cars. Who knows!
