Check your computer clock’s accuracy with Time.is [Daily Freeware]

Are you the type of person who likes everything to be absolutely perfect? Computers are great at perfection, but there is one thing that might be off, without you even realizing it. I’m talking about your clock. Wouldn’t it be great if there were a site you could use to check the accuracy of your computer’s clock? Don’t worry, there is.

I’m not sure how many people will be worried if their computer’s clock is off by a second or so. However, Time.is will let you know down to .1 seconds. Mine is off by about 1.7, which isn’t bad, I suppose. The site will automatically detect your location, and the current time, according to your computer. You can have it display other information, such as the date, and the time in other timezones. I think if you had a monitor that was always on, but usually blank, it might make for something interesting to look at. And for the perfectionists out there, you’ll be happy to know that the site is synced to an atomic clock, so you won’t get much more precise than this.
