Coach’s Eye lets players see their actions from the coach’s point of view

Sports have never been my strong suit. I have fun playing now and then, but I’ve just never had the time to dedicate to practicing form and technique required to play competitively. Coaches know exactly what I’m talking about, as they spend a good deal of their time helping the players perfect stances, grips, or whatever is most important in their particular sport. However, it can be difficult to explain to a player just how they’re standing wrong, if they can’t see it for themselves. Well with the Coach’s Eye app, you’ll be able to do just that.

This iPhone app allows you to record a player swinging the bat, throwing the ball, or shooting a puck, then play it back and analyze it frame-by-frame. You can even record voice instructions and critiques, as well as make annotations on the video. This allows the player to fully understand what they’re doing wrong (and right) while practicing. Armed with that knowledge, they will be able to work on their weaknesses, and hone their skills. At just $.99, every coach with an iPhone should seriously consider downloading this app.
