If there’s one thing that almost all electronic devices need, it’s that copper wire to transfer the energy from one place to another. Sure, there are other conductive metals will work for wire, but what if you could get rid of it altogether? I know, it sounds crazy, but stick with me. I propose that for your next electronic project, you just paint the connections you need.
This awesome Bare Paint Conductive Paint from Thinkgeek might not seem like your first choice for wiring, but there are plenty of applications where it could work. Just think of all of the times you’ve wanted to wire up something, but didn’t actually want to troubleshoot the issue of actually running (and hiding) the cable. Just paint it onto virtually any surface, and make the necessary connections at each end. This $30 jar is something I’d recommend for any DIY toolbox.
