Plastic wrap is an absolute nightmare in the kitchen. It may be useful to save food in the fridge, but it clings to itself or you before the object you’re trying to place it on. Tupperware works just fine, but if your fridge is already pretty full, you may not be able to Tetris a new container in there.

The CoverBlubber is hoping to replace your plastic wrap by giving you a food safe sticky rubber cover that will do the same job instead. It comes in four different sizes, and can stretch to fit something as small as a banana to half a watermelon. They can only be hand-washed, but my concern would be getting that weird aftertaste on the food that rubber and silicone seem to give off. While it only says Sold Out at the moment, it also says available this summer, so hopefully more information will surface later on.
