Cruiser Titanium Phone – can’t judge a book by its cover

There are times when you come across a gizmo that looks super appealing, but ends up not being as awesome as you had hoped. It’s the classic scenario of judging a book by its cover, and finding out the content is terrible. It’s especially disheartening when this new-fangled toy would come at a price tag of $2,500.

The Cruiser Titanium Phone is looking like its form overpowers its function, which is not a good thing for such a high-priced item. This single-piece case was made from the type of titanium that is used in the aerospace industry, and was polished for a good 16 hours. They are only making 555 of these phones, and it runs on the Symbian S40 OS. It has internal storage of 30MB, and a built-in card slot for a microSD. While this is a neat phone, how many of you are honestly going to switch from your current smartphone to this chunk of change?
