Dacky – a dog for all reasons

It would be tempting to write Dacky off as just another one of those plush robot dogs that the Japanese seem so fond of, but there’s more to this robo-pooch than meets the eye, m’dears. For a start there are six sensors inside this puppy – arf! – which help him learn about you and his surroundings. Over time he’ll start to chat or sing to you (ahem in Japanese), he’ll develop a character depending on how he’s treated and…and…he’ll adjust to your sleeping pattern. Phew, thank goodness for that. The thought of Dacky and the Roomba tussling for floor space during midnight snack fests is just too much to bear. $179.00.

New from Takara Tomy, Healing Partner Dacky is the latest in robotic pet communication. Dacky has SIX internal sensors through which he learns about you and develops a personality of his own. Stroking him on his head, back, or paw will elicit certain responses as you get to know him, and he responds with/to verbal communication as well.
