Keeping a journal has proven mental health benefits. Not many people want to carry around a notebook and pencil. It’s 2015! No one has time for that. Day One is a journal app to help you keep up the old habit in the new age.
This app lets you jot down your thoughts and keep track of your days. It automatically tracks subsidiary information like temperature and weather data, time and date, and some activity data. Which actually makes this a bit more useful than an actual journal which can only track what you put in it. Day One is a clean interface for simple journaling.
It also has customized reminders to write so you never forget a day. You can organize your entries by keywords and then go back to look at them to see how far you’ve come in life. Unfortunately, this is an apple only app but is available for both iPhones and Mac so you can use it on your phone or at your desk, whichever works for you. Day One is a free app.
Day One is a fantastic app: absolutely the best journaling app for iOS. However, it is NOT a free app: it is priced (very fairly) at $4.99 US.
You do a great disservice to both the app develope and Red Ferret readers by this glaring error. Please do the necessary research (which you should have done prior to posting your article) and correct your mistake.
