Diweinuo MOKA2 – turn your phone or tablet into a dual or triple SIM device from your keychain

It’s becoming very clear that having one phone is not enough for many people. What with home and work, and private and public and pleasure and pain. Hmm…maybe not the last, but you know what we mean. In the Far East they’re big on dual SIM, but over here in the West not so much for some reason.

But now there’s a way to add dual and even triple SIM functionality to your plain old tablet, phone or even iPod Touch, and enjoy a richer, more fulfilling and satisfying life all round. Honest.

The Diweinuo MOKA2 is neat little keychain device which syncs to any Bluetooth device and adds twin SIM functionality at a stroke. The quad band GSM product, which is iOS and Android compatible, tethers to the phone or tablet and offers dual card, dual standby with SIM hot swapping and SMS services.

The unit allows you to share a single address book between the SIMs if wanted, and the 300 mAh rechargeable battery gives a standby time of 70 hours and 4 hours of talktime. It’s a clever idea and one that could take off as long as it manages to eke out enough battery life for the busy lifestyle. Priced at $70.95 / £46.88.

  • Do you think you could explain what this does exactly? is it a phone?

    • It is a tethering device which connects to your phone via Bluetooth and contains a dual SIM socket so you can add an additional two SIM cards to your phone. Calls come in and go out via the device, but are handled by your phone. Does that help?

    • Actually, after looking at the website, it is a dual-sim phone, that you can use with you iphone(total of 3 sims), or your ipod touch/ipad. So you have to access it via a App, which is in the cydia (jailbroken) store…

      A. Your client (iTouch / iPad / iPhone, etc.) must be installed Cydia Software before downloading install mokablue client software. The Cydia software installation enter view.

      B. to ensure that your client is in the Internet status. (WiFi, 3G or GPRS choose one)

    • Yes, there's clearly a phone radio in there to handle the SIMs. But the calls etc are made through your mobile phone. Using a WiFi, GPRS or 3G connection?

  • I had always jailbroken all of my iPhones, but now my cydia icon disappeared and to get it back I have to reset it all, jailbrake it again, but there is no new jailbreak for ios 8.1.2 and up.

Therefore, I need to instal the Mokablue from another source.

Can you help me with that?

    Thank you
