The Pocket Doctor service is apparently the world’s first mobile telephony health information service. It’s also now being offered on mobile phones by Vodafone Live, which must make it the world’s first GSM/GPRS GP. If they add satellite tracking to it, will it become the world’s first GSM/GPRS/GPS GP?
Joking aside, it looks quite useful in some ways. For instance you can receive information via SMS or WAP covering everything from medical diagnosis to helping you to kick the smoking habit.
