doppel – the wearable that controls your mood

doppel-in-use

Hearing and feeling certain rhythms help us get hype or calm down. Think about music, when you want to chill, listen to something slow, when you need to work, something fast. This simple mood hack isn’t always available when you need it but what if it was? The doppel is the wearable that controls your mood through rhythm.

This wristwatch looking device uses vibrations to calm you down or pump you up. It’s the same theory as using dance music to get through a boring task, but without the sound. Need to settle your nerves during a management meeting? You can set this to calm and it will create a pulse only you will feel that will help your body calm down.

doppel-alone

It’s a pretty simple concept. The wearable itself is water and sweat resistant and charges via a bespoke charger in only one hour. You control it with an app and it will supposedly be customizable to your personal heart rate. This isn’t quite out yet but you can pre-order your doppel for £125.
