This is the Eking S515 MID, a sliding mobile internet device. It’s equipped with an Atom N515 processor running at 1.2GHz, 1GB of RAM and a 16GB solid state drive. It’ll run Windows7, XP or Linux and it can connect to the world via b/g wifi and a whole bunch of protocols; 3G, CDMA2000, TD-SCDMA (China) and WCDMA (Japan?) so it should work anywhere.
There’s a qwerty keyboard hidden under the 5″, 800 x 480 sliding screen, Bluetooth 2.0 EDR, a full size and mini USB port and a VGA front facing webcam. You can also increase the storage via microSD card, up to 32GB and it can play H.264, MPEG2, VC1 and WMV9 high definition encoding.
There are also headphone and microphone ports and the whole thing weighs just 320g (about 11oz). Priced at US$714.92 (RMB4650).
