EnChroma CX Lenses – sunglasses that help you see color

EnChroma Difference

Being colorblind is like the butt of a joke. “That cabinet is blue. What are you? Colorblind?” is probably a familiar if not exact exchange you’ve had or heard. The truth of the matter is that it’s actually a real problem. The EnChroma Cx Lenses can help colorblind people “see” color and for people with a full color spectrum, make the world more vibrant.

These glasses don’t “cure” colorblindness any more than normal glasses “cure” poor eyesight. Instead they act as a filter to help people with varying levels of colorblindness see a greater range of color and texture that they would have not been able to see otherwise. With these glasses, the colorblind individual is able to see red or green for instance while they are wearing them.

EnChroma CX Elite

For people who do not have colorblindness at all, the glasses will make colors brighter, more enhanced and intense than you’ve seen before. Like the world was suddenly put into technicolor. The EnChroma Cx are sunglasses with various levels that are designed for both indoor and outdoor use. The EnChroma Cx Elite cost $439.95.

  • Not even remotely possible. This is akin to snakeoil. Colorblindness means the cones that receive and process that color are GONE/missing/nonexistent and never were there. A filter can shift color, it cannot give the wearer the ability to see it when there’s no way to receive that wavelength. This just is not going to happen.
