Eton ARCPT300W Safety Hub

If you have an emergency kit at home, theres a good chance its a little outdated, as it likely doesnt have much more than a flashlight and the radio. The American Red Cross Axis Self-Powered Safety Hub is probably one of the better updated versions for an all-in-one in case of emergencies.

This safety hub comes with the good ole AM/FM radio with a tuner, giving you access to all seven channels of the NOAA weatherband. Equally if not more helpful, it is also equipped with an LED flashlight, flashing red beacon light, a rechargeable NiMH battery, DC 5v input, 3.5 mm headphone output, and a USB cell phone charger and AUX-input. Seeing as most of us rely on our cell phones for just about anything anymore, this charger for phones is definitely a necessity. You can charge up this device using the hand-crank (Ni-MH battery), AAA batteries, and AC power. This can be found for $69.99, but Amazon hasnt given a release date just yet.
