It’s nice to have a Bluetooth keyboard for your tablet so you don’t have to peck at the screen. Tactile feedback is pleasant for taking notes and writing out ideas, but you don’t want it all the time. There are tons of cases out there that have a built-in keyboard, but they are oftentimes a tad bulky, so even when you’re not using them, they make your tablet awkward to hold.
The FabricSkin Keyboard Folio looks as though it has streamlined a decent case for the iPad generations 2 and up. It’s thin, lightweight, and while not every version is made of the same material, the inside and outside are coated with a water-repellant seal. The magnetic clasp works the same as the Smartcase cover, as it will but your iPad on standby whenever you close it. If you do about two hours of typing daily, this should last for three months on one charge. These are only available for preorder at the moment for $150 in color options of of carbon black, mars red orange, electric blue, urban grey, sunflower yellow, and mystic blue.
