Fargo Desktop Fan will save you from scorching heat

The blistering heat is upon us! The weather has finally fully transitioned out of cold and dreary. The only issue is that it is now hot and humid, which almost makes us miss the cold. Almost.

Our first line of defense is drinking things with ice, but that will only get you so far. Normally, you need a fan to get the job done, but having only one angle to fulfill your cooling needs may not be enough. Even the oscillating fans are no match for a scorching summer’s day, as you have to wait for them to finish their route one direction or the other. This is why the Fargo Desktop Fan is perfect for summer days when you would rather not deal with the heat. It has horizontal fans that will draw in air from above and circulate it around the globe. This will give you 360 degrees of comfort, but is going to cost you a pretty penny. You’ll be looking at about $295 for this bronze and antique brass globular fan.

  • As their website states: "Oil rubbed bronze finish"…….Okay, so I'm a 30watt bulb, in a 100watt world, but "why" would you; "rub oil over metal"?
The metal's not going to soak the oil in, so no change in finish.Leaves an oily residue, wouldn't make much sense.
Regardless, for the price of this thing, I'll stick with the retired Dallas cheerleader I hired, and her palm branch, for keeping me "cool". (At least, when I; "rub her finish with oil", it soaks in!)
