Fastap keyboard

The BBC has been reporting on the new Fastap keyboard as a viable replacement for conventional mobile phone keypads. According to the report it ‘could soon be a lot easier to tap out messages and use websites via your mobile phone.’

Oh c’mon folks. Just look at it. It’s clear that the developers of this little nightmare have NEVER sent a text message in earnest in their lives. I defy anyone to use one of these cumbersome pads and produce a message faster or more efficiently than a txt master using a standard Nokia with T9 predictive text running. Get real!
